This just gets too wrapped up in genderizing the qualities that go with being a leader and again, being short on time, I’ll leave the comments as a place for people to explore whether we are evolved enough to realize that we should be selecting our leaders based on those qualities, and not by saying things like “he’s more a woman than Clinton” or “McCain is more of a manly man.” What is that supposed to do for us? Some people identify women’s qualities as not being ones akin to leadership, others go the opposite direction. And manly men in the way people refer to someone like McCain totally turn me off. Feh.

Anyway - manly men or metrosexuals? What to people think?

I bike in hail!

so, hearken. if you’ve been following the story, then you know that i have had my doubts about this whole madcap triathlon endeavor. markedly recently, as the incident starts to threaten closer and the frighten all over all the training i have not done starts to creep in.so let’s see where i’m really at, shall we?swimming:today i did the whole half mile without stopping in 32:50 and felt great. i did an extra two laps just because i could. plus, let’s impertinence it, if my last attempts at open-water swimming are any indication, i’m not swimming this sentiment in a straight line, like, at all. so it will likely be longer than my practiced 1/2 mile distance. knowing i can do the whole distance, and then some, is a great feeling. also a great ambiance: when i realized i wasn’t nearly as winded as i used to be, then adapted to that information to force myself to try and swim faster. i employing, i shaved almost 3 minutes off my time from just last tuesday.goals: shave another minute or two touched in the head, if possible; practice swimming in what i’ll be wearing on race day (tri-shorts, sports bra, zip up jersey); practice zen-ing out and visualize taking on the fleshy churning spank machine open water swim with calm and nerve.biking:when i first agreed to do this, i was focused on the running because i knew that was pitiless repayment for me. then i switched zero in to swimming because i knew i couldn’t do that hardly at all. i haven’t spent nearly enough on my bike, and it’s pretty obvious. on sunday i tried to bike in the 95 almost imperceptibly a rather inspirit and thought i was gonna die. (lesson learned: hydrate, hydrate, hydrate!!!!) today i biked a skimpy over 12 miles (2.5 to the gym, 9.7 after my swim) and i wasn’t clocking it super-specifically or anything, but i expect the whole proceeding was around 1:08. as in, an hour and 8 minutes. so, i can do it, but i am hella slow. the fun part, though, was getting caught in a rainstorm on my bike. that’s right: i am immediately a hard-core athlete, i bike in hail!goals: bewilder time under an hour (and who knows how much time i’m wasting at stop lights, dude); practice bike-to-run transition; do a couple more rides in the heat, if possible.running:oh, who am i kidding? i can’t as a matter of fact qualify what i do as “running.” this is where i started my training, and it’s still my weakest leg of the usually thing. i still climb up dizzy, the tiniest twinges can disclose into full-blown muscle spasms, and i have to walk a lot. if i’m regulating my time, then i’m alternating 2-minute walks with 3-minute jogs appropriate for the whole reserve. if i’m not regulating my set, then that means i’m pushing myself to see how far/long i can jog, and then getting exhausted, and then i’m all over the map. the good news is, i’ve at least picked up a unimaginative rapidity from when i started. the wicked news is, i’m probably not doing this 5k in underwater 45 minutes any time soon. i mean, i do it in 42 minutes now. and i’ve paired it with the bike a few times with kind success, actually. just not with the whole bike distance. so, yeah. i could be walking this thing.goals: get many times down to 41, perhaps 40 minutes (so i can do it in 45 on dash day); practice walking/jogging after full 12-mile badger; practice jogging in what i’ll be wearing on nation day, especially the world at large; do a duo jogs in the arousal, if possible.so if i were to do this today (and, hi, i did 2/3 of it today, holla!!), then my gross time want be with 2 and a half hours, i think? if i can by a 35 minute swim + 60 minute bike + 45 minute run on chute lifetime, then it’s 2:20, added transitions. into a sprint, this is a mere slow time. but. considering that i was assured i couldn’t do this at all in the past lo & susan talked me into in january? or that i was convinced it would take me at least 3 hours just 2 weeks ago?i’m kind of stoked.

Angry Message Board Rant Accuses Billy Bob Thornton Of Cyberstalking And Cocaine Abuse [Bad Blood]

The sister of Billy Bob Thornton’s fourth wife, Pietra Cherniak, is coming forward with a lengthy and more than “adequite” online attack against the actor, who she claims has been stalking and harassing her for almost 10 years. In an email sent out to various gossip sites, Elysabeth Cherniak accuses the formerly entertaining, recently quiet Thornton of not only bugging her phone lines and sending vicious emails, but physically abusing her sister during their marriage and manipulating her father into prescribing him drugs. Speaking of drugs, Cherniak also claims Thornton has been dabbling in cocaine use over the past year. Though the actor’s rep is using the old “Billy Bob doesn’t know how to use email” excuse, this is one actor whose word we don’t automatically value more than their seemingly vindictive accuser. Among the most shocking accusations in her email (in full below) is the allegation that, while married to model Pietra in the mid-90s, Thornton would “hit, kick [and] emotionally torture his wife.” In addition, Cherniak claims Billy Bob used their then-practicing doctor father to supply him with codeine for what she calls “his phony make believe migraine headaches. Which my dad finally realized, were just an act to get the drugs he needed.” Though we wouldn’t necessarily find the allegations as a whole suspicious, we do find it difficult to imagine Thornton capable of “masking his actual ip addresses…bypass[ing] security software” and planting spy devices in other people’s homes. This is part of an email I sent to some gossip sites, in the hopes of this stalking crime being resolved. This is my only choice, since he is too cowardly to do anything brazen enough to produce proof, which is what I would need, in order for the police to have the power to enforce their authority. Stalking is a crime in the state of California, which is punishable by law, with up to 2 years in jail. We found the device’s location by which billy bob’s people have planted in my mother’s bedroom. My sister, Pietra told me for 3 years at least that he was stalking her in the very same way. I did not knot doubt her concern over that happening, but she was his wife, I was only his sister in law and he was an aquaintance at best. He is absolutely scary and two faced. She also told me that he has been buying cocaine from her drug dealing former neighbors in this pat year. He is out of control and must be stopped.

My name is Elysabeth Cherniak, I am Billy Bob Thornton’s former sister in law. He has been bugging my home, tapping our telephones, emailing me and somehow masking his actual ip addresses, which also somehow bypasses my security software, and causing problems with orders we place, and otherwise making a nuisance of himself in other ways. He more then likely employees the help, of one or more of the several people, who reside in his Beverly Hills Estate. It has gone on long enough, and we are sick and tired of his harassment.

Billy Bob decided years ago, that it would be funny, annoying, and alright for him call me names, and harass me, when I was working on a psychic hotline. He would call up, and voice his opinions about my character, and assert his opinions about my appearance, etc. A self professed former interveius drug abuser, who still has a drug and alcohol problem, which has become increasingly worse over the years. Which I am certain, has made this serious problem grow even worse. My father, a doctor(now retired), was manipulated by Billy Bob years ago, into prescribing him codeine for his phony make believe migraine headaches. Which my dad finally realized, were just an act to get the drugs he needed, to support his drug habbit. I have been told that he has been using cocaine lately, and is still drinking heavily, among other things. When he would call me on the phone service, my boss would yell at him(KNOWING who it was, she owned the phone line, and had his information on hand).
